Implementation of awareness programmes on EIA procedure

The EIA Unit in collaboration with the Centre for Environmental Studies, University of Peradeniya conducts a 10 day Intensive course on EIA. This intensive course covers all aspects of the EIA process. In addition the EIA unit conducts short training courses to provide basic awareness on EIA. Those who are involved in the EIA process (state, private, academic and NGO) can participate in these programmes. These training programmes are advertised in newspapers.
