Industrial Chemical Management is one of a critical point to be considered in Pollution Control. Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for labeling and classification of chemicals is a vital necessity to apply in chemical management. Considering the timely necessity the Environment Pollution Control unit of the CEA organized a one day workshop to aware the officers involve in inspections on GHS on 30th December 2016 at the Auditorium of the CEA.
The Speakers, Mr. Samantha Kumarasena(Chief Executive Officer, National Cleaner Production Center),Mr. DhammikaWelhenage (General Manager -Health and Safety, Laugfs Holdings) and Mrs. NelkaPerera(Assistant Director ,Environmental Pollution Control Unit of Central Environmental Authority) conducted their lectures on following topics.
