Workshop on Solid Waste Management with Sri Lanka Air Force

A workshop on Solid Waste Management was organized by the Central Environmental Authority in association with Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) for 57 officers who were selected from 22 SLAF bases throughout the Island. In this training workshop, which was held on 20-07-2017 at the CEA head office these officers were given training on best practices of solid waste selection, sorting, composting and handling of hazardous waste and sanitary landfill  management.
This program will   be continued within the SLAF bases.
